Mallory Park
Dans les années 40, un petit
hippodrome est tracé dans un domaine près de Leicester. En 1948, il est
transformé en circuit de Grass Track.
Le site est racheté en
1955 par un
entrepreneur qui y construit un circuit routier. La première course de motos y
a lieu le 13 mai 1956.
En 1958 sont créés le Post-TT Meeting, disputé comme son nom l'indique juste après le TT et la Race of the Year (Course de l"Année) en fin de saison qui compteront parmi les plus importantes courses de la saison britannique.
